Handsome vintage steamer trunk, coffee table, with monogram

This is the lovely 1920’s vintage steamer trunk, a classic conker brown with willow runners, working catches, leather handles, remnants of old railway labels, and monogrammed “E.B.W.” to both ends.
The interior has retained its original retail label and striped cotton lining, minus it’s lift out tray, somewhat stained with age, but gently shampooed, so clean and usable, with the addition of some vintage pinstriped tissue paper.
It measures approx 30″ by 19 1/2″, stands about 13 1/2″ tall overall, so perfectly suited as a stylish alternative to a standard coffee table or blanket box/ottoman at the end of a period bedstead. Not to mention the oodles of useful storage within.
It’s in good vintage condition, with normal age related wear, scuffs and knocks.
