Large 1841 lustre ware christening mug

This is the most wonderful large hand painted lustre ware christening mug, made for John Usher in December 1841, so quite an early example. It measures approx 3″ tall by 3 1/2″ in diameter, and is in good condition, with no cracks or chips, just age related crazing and staining.
