This is a charming shabby antique oil painting on canvas, a still life of apples on the branch, signed “A. Mote”, I assume dating from around 1913, according to the date still visible on the other of the pair. It’s a good size, measuring approx. 30″ tall by 13″, and it is shabby as I mentioned, with a couple of holes, and some paint loss, but full of rustic character.
